Finding My Sunshine

I believe compassion is the most radical act of all — not weakness, but courage clothed in tenderness. I believe in seeing light in others, especially when the world has tried to bury it. I believe my scars are sacred — not because I was broken, but because I chose to heal. I do not fear the dark anymore. I carry my own light now.

I forgive — not because others deserve it, but because peace belongs to me. I believe in stories. In the way they connect us, unearth us, and stitch us back together.

I honour the girl I was, cradle the woman I am, and walk forward into who I’m becoming — fierce, soft, present and always seeking the sun.

No matter the shadows, I will keep finding my sunshine.
